She graduated from Üsküdar American Academy and Galatasaray University. Following her undergraduate studies, she successfully completed her master’s degree at the London School of Economics with a thesis focused on corporate law and arbitration.

Burçin Yıldırım Develioğlu is one of the founding and managing partners of Breitegger-Develioğlu Law Firm, specializing in corporate law, commercial law, and international arbitration. In this scope, she has provided strategic consultancy to both domestic and foreign companies; played an active role in multinational investment projects, commercial partnerships, restructurings, and high-value contract negotiations, and has managed international arbitration proceedings.

She offers legal consultancy with an integrated approach that not only addresses the legal framework but also focuses on companies’ structural needs, sector-specific dynamics, and long-term strategies.

She has particular expertise in international arbitration arising from foreign investments. Within this expertise, she has lectured on international arbitration law at the London School of Economics (LSE), represented clients and offered strategic consultancy in various international arbitration institutions, and advised clients not only in resolving disputes but also in designing mechanisms to prevent them.

Familiar with multinational business practices, Develioğlu supports her clients in establishing trust-based and sustainable relationships across different legal systems and cultures. At Breitegger-Develioglu Law Firm, where she is a founding and managing partner, she helps structure the Turkish operations of international investors and guides Turkish companies in their global commercial engagements.

As part of her postgraduate studies at Galatasaray University, she wrote a thesis titled "Resolution of Internal Corporate Disputes Through International Arbitration in Joint Stock Companies". For her academic work, she was awarded the Jean Monnet Scholarship granted by the European Union and a scholarship from TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye). After completing her studies, she returned to Türkiye and provided consultancy to leading foreign and Turkish companies in corporate law and dispute resolution.

Today, Develioğlu continues to serve her clients in all areas of corporate law and dispute resolution, offering legal support tailored to investors' needs while also continuing her academic career. She is currently writing her doctoral dissertation at the University of Fribourg on "Party Autonomy and Applicable Law in International Arbitration". She is also a member of the London Court of International Arbitration Young International Arbitration Group and the International Chamber of Commerce Young Arbitrator Forum.
